For the coming season, salads will be present in many of our tables. It is good to remember that when we buy vegetables, we must wash them very well before consuming them, as well as buy them in places where they are fresh.
The presentation is very important when taking a dish to the table, no matter the occasion, for something formal or for the daily table with our family, it is good to take care, do not forget that food also enters through the eyes.
Ingredients (for four people)
- 1 tablespoon of unflavored gelatin
- ¼ cup cold water
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup chopped celery
- ½ cup grated carrot
- ¼ cup chopped apple.
Preparation:
- In a large bowl, soak the gelatin with the cold water, add the boiling water, dissolve stirring well.
- Then add the vinegar, lemon, salt and sugar.
- Let it cool and as soon as it begins to coagulate add the vegetables and fruit.
- Use individual wet molds to put the portions, take to the refrigerator until it coagulates completely.
